New Account Manager: Meet Fabien Irissou

We’re excited to introduce Fabien, the newest addition to the Forest team. Based locally and bringing decades of industry experience, he’s your dedicated point of contact across North Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire. He’s here to support you, your kitchen and your business every step of the way.


A CHEF'S MINDEST & INDUSTRY KNOW-HOW


Fabien’s been in kitchens most of his life. He started early, got a cast iron skillet for his tenth birthday and soon became the Sunday breakfast Chef at home. That passion took him into the Airforce kitchens during national service, then into hotel management and culinary school. Thirty years on, he still loves the pace of it and he understands what Chefs need when the pressure is on.


He’s French by heritage, South African by upbringing, and his food taste sits right in the middle. Classic flavour, big energy, and a real love for cooking over coals whenever he gets the chance. Ask him what ingredient he could not live without and he will not hesitate. Protein, then seafood, then more protein. He is not pretending to be vegan...


Mark Benfield, Sales Director, says: “We’re really happy to have Fabien on board. He brings a huge amount of knowledge and he’s already showing real eagerness to get out on the road and meet Chefs.”
