MEET BABOO GELATO
Founded by Annie and Sam Hanbury, Baboo was born from a passion for exceptional ingredients and authentic Italian gelato.
Following her training in Bologna, Annie brought traditional gelato making techniques back to Dorset, drawing inspiration from the region's abundance of seasonal fruit and local produce.
Handcrafted in small batches, Baboo celebrates the natural character of its ingredients, creating gelato and sorbet with exceptional depth of flavour.
WHY CHOOSE GELATO?
Traditionally churned with less air and made with a higher proportion of milk to cream, gelato delivers a beautifully dense, silky texture.
Served slightly warmer than conventional ice cream, its flavours become more pronounced on the palate. For chefs, this means a versatile addition to the dessert menu. A perfect pairing for warm puddings, seasonal fruit and refined plated desserts, or simply exceptional served on its own.
